Whitehouse Texas is a growing community located down HWY 110 Troup Highway Southeast of Tyler. Whitehouse provides a small town feel with quick access to the best of Tyler’s shopping off of Loop 49 and the New Grande extension. Originally a farming town, Whitehouse has become a growing community just outside of Tyler. Neighborhoods range from waterfront on Lake Tyler such as South Hillcreek, Southpoint and Peninsula to closer to town Waterton and Brittain Court.They have their own school district and a population of approximately 8,000 in Smith county.
